Introducing Our Fundraiser: Care Packages for Children of Incarcerated Parents
We are excited to share an important initiative with you—our fundraiser for care packages supporting children of incarcerated parents! Although the fundraiser has been running for some time, this is the first time we are announcing it here on our blog.
Thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, we have already raised $807! We are well on our way to reaching our goal of $1,100, and we need your help to cross the finish line.
About Our Mission
At The UnLocked Project, we are committed to supporting children impacted by familial incarceration. This semester, we’ve partnered with the Osborne Association, a nonprofit in New York that serves families affected by incarceration, to provide 60 children with care packages.
These care packages will include essential hygiene items, art supplies, journals, and personal letters of encouragement—small but meaningful reminders that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Why Your Donation Matters
Each care package costs $16, and every contribution, no matter the amount, helps bring joy and reassurance to these children. Your donation can directly brighten a child’s day.
